Account information — When you create an account, we store your email address and optional display name. This is needed to provide login, favorites, ratings, and comments.

Submitted links — When you submit a link, we store the link details and your optional name and email address for review purposes.

Newsletter email — If you sign up for the newsletter, we store your email address to send updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Usage analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on site, country). This data is anonymised and aggregated. Google Analytics may use cookies to track returning visitors.

Feedback and comments — Any text you submit through the feedback form, comments, or contact form is stored in our database.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate the site and provide features (login, favorites, ratings, comments)

  • To send newsletter emails to subscribers who have opted in

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database hosted on AWS infrastructure. Supabase uses Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure each user can only access their own data. Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled securely by Supabase Auth. The site is served over HTTPS (SSL encryption) at all times.

4. Cookies

NeopedHub uses the following types of cookies:

  • Authentication cookies — Used to keep you logged in to your account. These are essential for the site to function.
  • Analytics cookies — Placed by Google Analytics to help us understand site usage. You can opt out via your browser settings or a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

  • Opt out of Google Analytics tracking

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data may be retained for longer. Newsletter subscribers are removed immediately upon unsubscribe request.

8. Children's Privacy

NeopedHub is intended for medical professionals, students, and adult caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us for removal.

9. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of NeopedHub following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
